Known for his witty deconstructions, the artist transforms Perrelet’s signature spinning turbine into an industrial hazard warning. The traditional central seconds hand is replaced by a bright yellow “Keep Hands Clear” sign, while the dial humorously proclaims “1777 days since last injury,” referencing Perrelet’s founding year. An engraved case back completes the joke: “I sincerely love art. But it will always come second. Safety first.”
